General Terms and Conditions

Before completing your booking, please read these conditions carefully. By confirming a booking you expressly accept their content in full.

In compliance with Article 10 of Law 34/2002 on Information Society Services and Electronic Commerce, we provide the following details:

Scope and purpose

These General Terms and Conditions govern the relationship between Pelayo Suárez Fraga (hereinafter, «Horizon Escuela de Surf») and users who book its services through the website or any other available channel (phone, email).

By making a booking, the customer expressly accepts these conditions in full. Horizon Escuela de Surf reserves the right to amend these conditions at any time; the version published on the website at the time of booking shall be the one in force.

The customer must be of legal age and have full legal capacity to enter into a contract. If the booking is made on behalf of a company, the person managing it must have express authorisation to do so and provide the corresponding tax details.

Booking conditions

  • The booking deposit is non-refundable.
  • The remaining balance is due at check-in.
  • Once the surf camp has started, no refunds will be issued for unused services or for the interruption of the stay or any contracted activities.
  • If the surf camp cancels, the full amount paid will be refunded.

Booking process

Bookings are made through the website. Once the deposit payment has been validated, you will receive a confirmation email at the address provided, which will serve as proof of your booking. Horizon Escuela de Surf reserves the right to verify the payment before confirming the booking.

Required information

To complete a booking you must provide: full name, phone number and email address of the booking holder, total number of participants, indicating whether any are minors and their age, start and end date of the activity

Prices and payment methods

Prices published on the website include VAT. Payment is made in two stages: the booking deposit at the time of confirmation, and the remaining balance at check-in. .

Participation and safety

The customer agrees to follow the instructions of the staff at all times for safety reasons, to inform staff of any physical limitation or relevant medical condition, and to make responsible use of any equipment provided. Horizon Escuela de Surf reserves the right to exclude from activities any person who fails to comply with safety rules or puts others at risk, without entitlement to a refund.

Liability

Surfing is a sport that involves inherent risks, which the customer accepts and assumes. Horizon Escuela de Surf is not liable for damages arising from the customer’s failure to follow safety instructions or from force majeure events. Horizon Escuela de Surf holds the civil liability insurance required by law.

Data protection

The personal data you provide will be processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy, the GDPR 2016/679 and the Spanish Data Protection Act (LOPDGDD 3/2018), and will be used solely for the management of your booking and the provision of contracted services. Applicable law

These conditions are governed by Spanish law. Any disputes shall be submitted to the Courts and Tribunals of Asturias. Users residing in the EU may also use the European Commission’s Online Dispute Resolution platform: https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr/
